Description:

Our client is seeking experienced Organisational Change Managers to lead and implement change management activities supporting the uptake and integration of new IT capabilities.

The role focuses on driving effective change across business processes, tools, technologies, job roles, and organisational structures. You will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives are well planned, communicated, and successfully embedded within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support user transition and adoption
  • Establish and manage business readiness plans aligning IT deployment with operational needs
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across diverse groups with varying levels of change maturity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address resistance and build support for change initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across cross-functional teams
  • Lead and support Change Champions to drive successful adoption outcomes
  • Drive cultural and behavioural change aligned with program objectives
  • Monitor and report on business readiness progress, including operational metrics and productivity measures
  • Identify and mitigate risks, gaps, and challenges associated with change initiatives
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support knowledge transfer and training activities
  • Ensure training materials and engagement artefacts are current and accessible
  • Identify opportunities to improve change management practices and implement innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering organisational change within complex IT environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
  • Experience in business readiness planning and change impact assessment
  • Ability to develop and deliver training materials and support adoption activities
  • Experience working in structured frameworks aligned to change management practices

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the role of an Organisational Change Manager, with consideration of the role description, job duties and responsibilities described.
  • Proven experience managing change in complex IT environments.
  • Demonstrated strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to lead diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business readiness planning, change impact assessments, and training development.
  • Familiarity with SFIA skills CIPM 5, PROF 5, TECH 5 and RLMT 4.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with NIC agencies and the intelligence production process.
  • Experience with change frameworks and digital transformation initiatives.
