Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of ICT and operational initiatives. The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements, map business processes, and support delivery activities. The position also contributes to improved decision-making, reduced delivery risk and enhanced alignment between operational processes and technology outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
  • Map current and future state business processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support definition and traceability of requirements across delivery stages
  • Assist with preparation of acceptance criteria, UAT scenarios and issue resolution
  • Maintain project artefacts including documentation, status reports, risk and issue logs and decision registers
  • Support project governance and use of documentation and collaboration tools
  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal staff through documentation, walkthroughs and working sessions

Requirements:

  • Experience in business analysis including requirements gathering through workshops, interviews and document review
  • Ability to map and improve business processes
  • Experience developing business and functional requirements
  • Experience supporting testing and UAT activities
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as TechnologyOne, PowerBI and Microsoft 365 tools

Essential Criteria:

  • Essential criteria include demonstrated capability aligned to SFIA Business Modelling Level 4, Business Process Improvement Level 5 and Consultancy Level 5. The resource will conduct advanced business modelling activities across multiple functions, selecting appropriate techniques and levels of detail to support change initiatives and communicating outcomes to senior stakeholders. They will analyse, design and improve business processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness and support the adoption of new technologies and automation, including development of graphical process models to support decision making. The role will assess the feasibility of process changes, recommend practical improvement options and apply appropriate methods and tools to implement improvements at project or program level. The resource will also provide consultancy services by understanding client requirements, collecting and analysing information, facilitating stakeholder engagement and recommending solutions that address business needs while supporting capability uplift within the organisation.
