Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced ICT Procurement Lead to support a range of projects and initiatives. The role operates under broad direction and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering ICT procurement activities across platforms of varying size, complexity, and technical requirements.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end procurement processes for ICT hardware, software, licensing, and support services, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and procurement policies. This role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to translate technical information into commercial documentation, and the capability to manage competing priorities within strict timeframes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and coordinate ICT procurement activities across the full procurement lifecycle
  • Prepare procurement documentation including Statements of Work/Requirements, Bill of Materials, Risk Assessments, EULA reviews, and approval documentation
  • Translate complex technical information into clear commercial documentation suitable for procurement and contracts
  • Support vendor evaluation and contract negotiation activities
  • Track delivery and acceptance of ICT assets and services
  • Maintain accurate records within electronic record keeping systems
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Manage procurement-related actions to ensure compliance and timely delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing ICT procurement activities end-to-end
  • Ability to interpret and translate technical information into procurement documentation
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance, compliance, and policy frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • High level organisational and communication skills
