Description:

Our client is seeking multiple Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers to support the delivery and management of enterprise storage platforms within a large and complex ICT environment. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing storage systems across both physical and virtual layers, while contributing to the future direction of storage and data platforms.

This role sits within a broader infrastructure team responsible for data centres, virtualisation, automation, storage, and backup services. The position also includes documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, manage and tune storage systems across physical and virtual environments
• Deploy, configure and manage Storage Area Network (SAN) switches
• Produce design, build and operations documentation
• Contribute to the development of storage and data platform strategies
• Provide support for data centre and infrastructure platforms
• Participate in after-hours on-call support as required
• Share knowledge with team members and mentor junior staff

Requirements:

• Experience working in large and complex ICT environments
• Ability to manage enterprise storage systems across multiple platforms
• Experience with SAN technologies and infrastructure
• Capability to develop technical documentation including design and operational artefacts
• Ability to support infrastructure services including backup and restore capabilities

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems:
  • HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage Systems
  • NetApp E-Series
  • Dell Data Domain
  • Brocade Fabric Switches
  • SANnav
  • Scality Artesca
• Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff
• Experience / Knowledge of the following technology:
  • Veeam Backup and Replication
