Description:
Our client is seeking a LIMS Software Engineer (Developer) to support the delivery of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project. You will contribute to developing, configuring and enhancing LIMS capabilities while working collaboratively with developers, subject matter experts and external consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops with stakeholders and external consultants
- Provide technical input into solution design activities
- Configure and develop new functionality within the LIMS platform
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing activities
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Support user acceptance testing activities including scenario development and execution
- Provide support for end user training
- Collaborate with administrators for BAU support and system enhancements
- Maintain best practice software engineering and coding standards
- Promote adherence to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in software development and system configuration
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with testing, documentation and deployment activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to support training and user adoption
Essential Criteria:
- The Service Provider’s demonstrated understanding of the Services required.
- The proposed Labour Hire Workers statement to address the Selection Criteria as described in the Detailed Statement of Work
- The Service Provider’s demonstrated capability and capacity to provide the services.
