Description:
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineers to design, implement and support enterprise platform infrastructure that underpins critical digital services. The successful candidates will work across infrastructure design, platform engineering and automation while collaborating with technical teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient platform solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business users and system engineers to improve and optimise the implementation, use and management of analytic-based business solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues.
- Engage with staff and business-led IT areas to leverage solution expertise and contribute to the organisation's knowledge base.
- Participate in platform configuration planning and management.
- Identify and communicate design, build, testing and quality risks, assumptions and dependencies.
- Produce system design, implementation documentation, procedures and policies.
- Perform technical assessment, design, configuration and deployment of new capabilities in the data platform environment.
- Ensure compliance with ICT standards and governance requirements.
- Provide knowledge and skills transfer to other teams.
- Maintain current technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships and professional networks.
- Contribute to improved ICT practices and procedures.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and training.
- Work effectively within a small team and broader organisational environment.
- Deliver work within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
