Duration: Initial 12 months with 2 x 12-month extensions

Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Power Platform Software Engineer (Developer) to contribute to an inflight digital portal program. The successful developer will work on the continued expansion of the portal, delivering additional digital services and supporting improved customer experience, streamlined business processes and enhanced data capability.

The role requires experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code and providing technical leadership to software engineering teams. The successful candidate will contribute to the quality and functionality of software produced by the team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee software development activities and contribute to the delivery of digital solutions.
• Write optimised code and support the quality and functionality of software produced by the team.
• Provide technical leadership to software engineers.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Develop front-end solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Undertake full-stack development and integrate front-end applications with backend services.
• Work with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies.
• Apply established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Requirements:

• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform.
• Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong full-stack development skills using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with experience in modern frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Strong full-stack development skills, including experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience working with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.
