Duration: Initial 12 months with 2 x 12-month extensions

Working arrangements: Strong preference for Canberra-based candidates working on-site 5 days per week. Remote arrangements may be considered at our client’s discretion and with prior approval. Interstate-based workers are required to attend the Canberra office for a minimum of 2 consecutive days per month at their own expense.

Description:

Our client is seeking four Senior Salesforce Developers to support the development and ongoing delivery of Salesforce applications. The successful candidates will implement solutions that meet business requirements within a project delivery team, collaborating with solution leads, business analysts, testers and release managers.

The role involves using out-of-the-box Salesforce features and configuration to maximise value and sustainability, while applying best practices when customising solutions with code.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
• Translate application designs into functional configurations and code, in line with development and configuration standards.
• Support quality assurance and release management operations to ensure artefacts can be properly tested and deployed.
• Produce design, solution and technical documentation as required by the project.
• Collaborate with the Solution Lead to prepare designs.
• Work closely with the business analyst to ensure releases meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with the tester to ensure releases meet quality assurance standards.
• Work with the release manager to perform releases through the DevOps pipeline and meet quality standards at each step.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience designing, building and delivering enterprise-level integrated solutions.
• Demonstrated experience configuring Salesforce, including building/modifying custom Objects, Flows, Permission sets, sharing and other related configuration and settings.
• Advanced demonstrated experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omnistudio, Aura, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Demonstrated experience tracking and troubleshooting errors in development and configuration.
• Experience with Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud.
• Experience using version control and advanced CI/CD tooling.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practice and functionality.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Omni Studio Developer/Consultant.

Key Capabilities:

• Development and Implementation – Systems Development – Programming / Software Development (PROG) – Level 4.
• Development and Implementation – Systems Development – Software Configuration (PORT) – Level 4.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 3+ years in performing Salesforce development.
• Have specialist ICT skills in the following: Demonstrated experience to design, build and deliver enterprise level integrated solutions and follow Salesforce best practices; Demonstrated experience in configuring Salesforce. Ability to build/ modify custom Objects, Flows, Permission sets, sharing and other related configuration and settings; Advanced demonstrated experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omnistudio, Aura, JavaScript, CSS and HTML; Public Sector Solutions and Experience cloud; Experience in using version control and advanced CI/ CD tooling.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Omni Studio Developer/ Consultant.
• Minimum current/active NV1 security clearance.

Desirable Criteria:

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II or any Salesforce Architect Certification like Data Designer/ Sharing and Visibility Designer.
• Certified Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant.
