Job Title: Contract Manager Officer (APS5 & APS6)
Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain Baseline
Duration: Initial 13 months with 1 x 12-month extension

Description:
Our client is seeking 3 Contract Manager Officers, comprising one APS5 Data Administration Officer and two APS6 Procurement and Contract Administrator Officers. These roles contribute to the delivery of procurement outcomes aligned with the agency's strategic objectives and ensure compliance with procurement policy and procedures.
Responsibilities:
APS5 Contract Manager Officer (Data Administration Officer):
- Support contract administration activities, including monitoring deliverables and tracking milestones.
- Ensure contract activities comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and internal policies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support contract planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records in departmental systems and support reporting requirements.
- Provide administrative support for contract management processes.
APS6 Contract Manager Officer (Procurement and Contract Administrator Officers):
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes for low to medium complexity procurements.
- Draft and negotiate contract terms; manage contract performance, variations, and renewals.
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategy, risk, and compliance.
- Develop procurement plans, evaluation reports, and supporting documentation.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Support procurement capability development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and government procurement frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
