Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a Data Remediation and Migration project, ensuring objectives are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires strong project delivery capability across IT and data-focused initiatives, with the ability to operate effectively in a complex program environment and engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage competing priorities, including conflicting project dependencies, resources, and strategic objectives to deliver timely results

  • Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication channels and regular updates on project progress and challenges

  • Monitor finances, working with finance teams to prepare and manage budgets

  • Engage operational teams for smooth implementation and service transition, ensuring the operational lifecycle of IT services and systems is central to service delivery

  • Prepare and maintain project management artefacts including project plans, work breakdown structures, benefits tracking documents, risk registers, budgets, and status reports

  • Facilitate engagement with governance bodies through preparation of briefing materials, progress reports, and documentation

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to relevant project, program, and portfolio boards and committees

  • Oversee project team members, providing guidance and technical direction while fostering collaboration and high performance

  • Prioritise business delivery and end-user experience in all project outcomes

  • Develop and present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

  • Operate effectively in environments with ambiguity

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years demonstrated experience in planning, leading, and delivering IT and/or data migration projects

  • Demonstrated experience delivering business process improvement initiatives

  • Ability to apply industry standard project management processes, tools, and methodologies, including PRINCE2 and Agile

  • Ability to quickly adapt to a complex program environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business areas
