Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their AI & Data team. In this role, you will design, develop and maintain data solutions to support data generation, collection and processing activities.

You will play a key role in building and optimising data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with multiple teams, contribute to key technical decisions, and provide solutions to complex data challenges across the broader team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions
• Create and manage data pipelines to support data integration and processing
• Implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems
• Ensure data quality through regular assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and optimise data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven strategies
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions impacting multiple teams
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure SQL Database
• Advanced proficiency in data migrations
• Advanced proficiency in data access methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in data engineering practices
• Advanced proficiency in building and managing data pipelines
• Advanced proficiency in data processing
• Experience as an Azure Data / Reporting Engineer
• Ability to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions
