Description:
Our client is seeking an AI Business Analyst to support the delivery of AI-enabled products and services. The role involves understanding complex business problems and translating them into clear, testable requirements for agile delivery teams.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design ethical, transparent, and compliant AI solutions, ensuring appropriate governance, human oversight, and auditability across the AI lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse and document business, data and AI requirements
- Decompose requirements into epics, features and user stories with testable acceptance criteria
- Define AI-specific non-functional requirements including transparency, safety, robustness, latency, security and privacy
- Map processes and decision points to determine AI versus rules-based approaches, including human-in-the-loop checkpoints
- Co-design evaluation frameworks for AI features, including performance monitoring, drift detection and fairness
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product owners to define model objectives and constraints
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions and backlog refinement activities
- Develop service blueprints and future-state workflows
- Create acceptance criteria and test cases for AI/ML features, including A/B testing and rollback strategies
- Document model assumptions, prompts, guardrails and safety constraints
- Contribute to privacy impact assessments and risk assessments
- Ensure alignment with AI and data governance frameworks and coordinate approvals
- Support change management, communications and training for AI-enabled tools and processes
- Participate in continuous improvement and communities of practice
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in digital or service delivery environments
- Experience working within agile teams
- Hands-on experience supporting AI-enabled products within the Microsoft stack (ML, NLP/LLMs, Copilot or automation)
- Demonstrated ability to write testable user stories and acceptance criteria for AI features
- Knowledge of responsible and secure AI practices, including privacy, explainability and bias mitigation
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Miro (or equivalent tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
