Description:
Our client is seeking experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of major ICT projects. You will work within a dynamic environment contributing to the planning, execution and governance of complex initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers
- Research, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project or program initiatives
- Negotiate and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and collaboration
- Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges
- Provide management, coordination, governance and assurance of complex projects
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Represent the team in governance meetings and provide clear status reporting, including risks and impacts
- Oversee project resources to ensure a high-performing and motivated team
- Utilise project management tools across risk, quality, financial, procurement and resource management
Requirements:
- Experience delivering complex ICT projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Ability to manage project governance, reporting and risk
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience leading complex ICT projects and programs in Federal Government.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers.
- Experience with/ and application of project management frameworks and methodologies including waterfall and Hybrid Agile.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Departmental Executive.
