Description:

Our client is seeking experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of major ICT projects. You will work within a dynamic environment contributing to the planning, execution and governance of complex initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers
  • Research, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project or program initiatives
  • Negotiate and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and collaboration
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges
  • Provide management, coordination, governance and assurance of complex projects
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
  • Represent the team in governance meetings and provide clear status reporting, including risks and impacts
  • Oversee project resources to ensure a high-performing and motivated team
  • Utilise project management tools across risk, quality, financial, procurement and resource management

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering complex ICT projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in agile and hybrid delivery environments
  • Ability to manage project governance, reporting and risk

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience leading complex ICT projects and programs in Federal Government.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, cross-agency collaborations and service providers.
  • Experience with/ and application of project management frameworks and methodologies including waterfall and Hybrid Agile.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Departmental Executive.
