Description:

Our client is seeking up to four experienced Senior .NET Developers to support the ongoing sustainment, enhancement and delivery of critical ICT systems and priority initiatives. The roles require strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development to ensure continuity of critical services and delivery outcomes.

The successful candidates will be experienced full-stack Vue JS/.NET Developers who can effectively manage multiple high-priority work items simultaneously. Candidates should have a proven record of development achievement in agile teams and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake full-stack Vue JS/.NET development across multiple applications.
  • Support business-as-usual sustainment activities and the delivery of strategic enhancements and projects.
  • Manage multiple high-priority work items simultaneously.
  • Work effectively within agile delivery teams and dynamic environments.
  • Contribute to the continuity of critical services and delivery outcomes.
  • Apply relevant SFIA Level 5 capabilities across Programming/Software Development (PROG), Systems Design (DESN) and Software Designer (SWDN).
  • Contribute to technical leadership where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of .NET development experience, preferably with some experience in an APS environment.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern cloud platforms and full-stack application development.
  • Proven development achievement within agile teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change and continuous improvement.

  • Development and Implementation – Systems Development – Programming / Software Development (PROG) – Level 5.

  • Full-stack Vue JS/.NET development.

Essential Criteria:

  • Multiple years of Microsoft .NET experience doing full stack development.
  • Proven experience designing and developing in Vue JS/.NET on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Have intimate knowledge of securing apps to meet the least privilege principle (Cyber ISM) including familiarity with OWASP.
  • Demonstrated experience developing web applications with modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, especially Vue JS.
  • Experience establishing and managing software repositories and developing CI/CD pipelines to deploy software.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps processes and task governance.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Proven critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills and possess lead solution design skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure, deliver business outcomes and work effectively as part of a team with a focus on leading teams to provide quality services.
  • Work closely as part of an agile delivery team, including the flexibility to work as a multidisciplinary team member.
  • Effective communication skills and can clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
