Description:
Our client is seeking experienced and motivated Senior Business Analysts to support the delivery of various ICT projects within their Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD). These projects include emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and the role plays a key part in enabling innovative and sustainable economic growth through digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and model current and future business processes and information management environments
- Analyse data-related requirements, user pathways and information flows
- Conduct stakeholder engagement and collaborate with technical teams to create fit-for-purpose solutions
- Develop comprehensive documentation such as business requirements specifications, business cases, functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and change management plans
- Undertake technical research and analysis in accordance with departmental policies and legislation
- Evaluate and translate business requirements into techno-functional solutions
- Analyse proposed solutions strategically, considering broader impacts across the department and government
- Work in Agile teams to deliver requirements artefacts for complex IT systems including websites
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and collaborative solution design
- Skilled in drafting various business documentation
- Technical research and strategic solution evaluation
- Experience in Agile methodology and digital project delivery

Essential Criteria:
- Experience facilitating workshops and developing business scenarios, process maps, data models and use cases – 25%

Desirable Criteria:
- Relevant experience in implementing Information Technology Services
- Experience documenting requirements for Office technologies
- Experience using Azure DevOps for user story creation and tracking of acceptance criteria
- Experience or knowledge of Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
