Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Identity and Access Management (IAM) Domain Architect to support the ongoing maintenance and uplift of Microsoft Identity Manager, Unify Identity Broker, and UNIFYNow platforms. This role is positioned within the Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD), which delivers critical IT services and operational support. The successful candidate will be a solution-driven professional with proven IAM domain expertise, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a track record of technical leadership on complex initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Microsoft Identity Manager, Unify Identity Broker, and UNIFYNow
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, business units, and vendors to promptly address and resolve issues
- Provide solution architecture support, preferably in a federal government setting
- Lead technical efforts on complex and migration-focused projects
- Develop high-level and detailed design solutions aligned with business requirements
- Engage effectively with a range of stakeholders including technical teams, cybersecurity, and enterprise architects
- Communicate technical designs clearly through documentation and diagrams
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IAM architecture and engineering (minimum 5 years)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing Microsoft Identity Manager and Unify solutions
- Demonstrated experience working across technical and business domains
- Strong ability to develop detailed technical solutions and design documents
- Capability to work autonomously while building effective working relationships

Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in designing and managing Microsoft Identity Manager, Unify Identity Broker, UNIFYNow.
- Demonstrated experience working with internal technical, business areas and vendors to ensure issue remediation is ratified swiftly.
- Solid expertise in developing high level and detailed design solutions.
- Ability to work independently, build productive relationships and liaise with stakeholders (including business users, development team, technical engineers, cyber security experts and enterprise architects).
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role on complex projects – preferably migration projects.
- Strong communications skills and ability to convert business requirement into detailed design solution using concise language, diagrams and accurate technical details.
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in IAM architecture and engineering
