Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commvault and NetApp Infrastructure Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of NetApp storage and Commvault backup systems across both on-premise and cloud environments. The role requires a proactive professional with strong expertise in backup, storage, and data recovery strategies, who can support business-as-usual and project-based initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Deploy and maintain NetApp storage solutions across on-premises and cloud infrastructure

Deploy and maintain Commvault backup systems including Azure and Commvault cloud

Monitor system performance and manage thresholds, corrective actions, and reporting
-
Plan and implement data retention, backup lifecycle and recovery strategies to meet RPO and RTO objectives

Identify and manage risks related to Commvault and NetApp infrastructure
-
Engage with vendors for issue resolution and ongoing support

Support enterprise solution delivery for both projects and operational needs

Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure-related processes and practices
Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior storage engineer/administrator
-
Experience in both traditional and cloud-based infrastructure
-
Strong technical expertise in NetApp and Commvault technologies
-
Working knowledge of iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS protocols
-
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment

Experience with scripting tools and performance reporting

Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server environments and virtual platforms
Essential Criteria:

5+ years’ experience as a senior storage engineer/administrator working with traditional and cloud-based systems

Certification in NetApp or Commvault would be highly desirable

Expert knowledge in NetApp storage technologies

Expert knowledge in Commvault backup technologies

Expert knowledge in Commvault cloud technologies

In depth working knowledge of the ISCI, NFS and CIFS Protocols
Desirable Criteria:
-
Experience with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures related to Cloud Based Storage Technologies—specifically Microsoft and Commvault

Experience with using scripting tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and prepare reports

Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server administration and Virtual platforms
-
Strong written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
