Description:

Our client is seeking experienced Test Engineers to support the delivery of a new data centre capability within a major Federal Government program. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, translating customer requirements into test solutions, managing defects, and ensuring successful test outcomes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements into efficient and effective test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Review and assess the testability of requirements
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures for different stages of testing
• Analyse test results, manage defects, and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to solve technical issues and deliver successful outcomes

Requirements:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in data centre environments
• Strong background in performance and load testing of software components, subsystems, and systems
• Expertise in managing test requirements, traceability, and documentation using test management tools
• Familiarity with systems engineering practices including V&V (Verification & Validation), performance, and resilience testing
• Experience with test automation integrated within CI/CD pipelines
