Description:

Our client is seeking five experienced Senior Business Analysts to support a range of ICT projects. These roles will involve working across multiple initiatives within a broader program of work. Successful candidates will apply their business analysis expertise to projects involving process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and the development of user-centred solutions. Reporting to the relevant Director and Project Manager, the analysts will independently contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and model business processes; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop business process models, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with data professionals to utilise analytics for decision-making and optimisation.
  • Gather and document business requirements using client-provided templates.
  • Present data, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Create data models, process diagrams, and wireframes.
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Work collaboratively with SMEs, end users, product owners, change managers, architects, developers, testers, and trainers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience applying user-centred design principles to technology solutions.
  • Strong background in business process analysis and requirements elicitation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, actionable business analysis artefacts.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TSPV or TSPA clearance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Exceptional ability to confidently elicit and define epics, user stories & acceptance criteria following best practice principles as well as identifying and defining non-functional requirements (NFR).
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to facilitate interviews, workshops and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to successfully document business processes and requirements. Apply and monitor appropriate use of modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards.
  • Ability and experience in the application of user centred design principles and tools including personas, service blueprints and journey maps to ensure technology investments meet user requirements and align with business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Experience applying Business Analysis practice to Business Problems supporting solution development in an emerging technology area.
  • Seven+ years experience in a similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills are needed to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
