Description:

Our client is seeking multiple Senior Test Analysts to support quality assurance activities across several application and platform delivery teams. The successful candidates will work within established project teams to prepare and execute test cases, ensuring project objectives and business requirements are achieved.

These roles will contribute to the delivery of quality assurance outcomes across systems, services and applications, including environments leveraging commercial off-the-shelf products, bespoke systems and low-code platforms. The successful candidates will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to implement appropriate testing methodologies, tools and governance processes to ensure high quality delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and drive testing activities across all stages and iterations of product, systems and service development
• Prepare and execute test cases to ensure project objectives and business requirements are met
• Provide authoritative advice and guidance on test planning and execution
• Adopt and adapt appropriate testing methods, automated tools and techniques to address testing challenges
• Measure and monitor the application of testing standards
• Assess risks and take preventative action to mitigate quality issues
• Identify improvements and contribute to the development of organisational testing policies, standards and guidelines
• Coordinate with technical teams and engage with business stakeholders during the testing lifecycle
• Support quality assurance processes within project and operational delivery teams

Requirements:

• Experience aligned with Systems Development – Testing (TEST) – SFIA Level 5
• Experience aligned with Governance, Risk and Compliance – Quality Assurance (QUAS) – SFIA Level 4
• Experience aligned with Methods and Tools advisory capabilities (METL) – SFIA Level 4
• Ability to provide specialist technical advice aligned with SFIA Level 5
• Stakeholder relationship management capability aligned with SFIA Level 4
• Experience supporting business process acceptance testing (BPTS) – SFIA Level 4
• Experience in user experience evaluation activities (USEV) – SFIA Level 3

Key Capabilities:

• Strong capability in systems testing and quality assurance practices
• Ability to provide specialist advice on testing approaches, tools and methodologies
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Experience applying testing standards, governance and risk management practices
• Ability to adopt and implement appropriate tools and testing techniques

Essential Criteria:

• ISTQB Foundation or higher certification.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in testing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Bespoke coded products.
• Experience using testing tools such as Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Demonstrate experience in leveraging appropriate resources and methods to deliver the QA function in a cost-effective manner and capability to update, maintain and articulate testing artefacts.
• Experience in testing of REST Services / SOAP web services and web applications. Minimum NV1 security clearance.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in MOE, and infrastructure / hardware testing.
• Experience in low code / no code platforms such as Salesforce, Smart IQ, MS Power Apps.
• Experience in Cloud hosted applications and CI/CD pipelines as well as on premise hosted systems.
