Job Title: LIMS Software Engineer (Developer)

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline

Duration: Initial 12 months with 1 x 12-month extensions

Description:

Our client is seeking a LIMS Software Engineer (Developer) to support the delivery of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) project. You will contribute to developing, configuring and enhancing LIMS capabilities while working collaboratively with developers, subject matter experts and external consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops with stakeholders and external consultants
• Provide technical input into solution design activities
• Configure and develop new functionality within the LIMS platform
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing activities
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Support user acceptance testing activities including scenario development and execution
• Provide support for end user training
• Collaborate with administrators for BAU support and system enhancements
• Maintain best practice software engineering and coding standards
• Promote adherence to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Experience in software development and system configuration
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with testing, documentation and deployment activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to support training and user adoption

Essential Criteria:

• The Service Provider’s demonstrated understanding of the Services required.
• The proposed Labour Hire Workers statement to address the Selection Criteria as described in the Detailed Statement of Work
• The Service Provider’s demonstrated capability and capacity to provide the services.
