Description:

Our client is seeking up to three experienced Senior Business Analysts to support the delivery and sustainment of ICT initiatives. The role requires strong analytical capability, experience working in agile environments, and the ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements.

You will work across multiple high-priority initiatives, contributing to modern cloud-based application development and supporting both new and existing projects. The position involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to ensure effective delivery outcomes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Work across multiple high priority work items concurrently
• Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders within agile delivery teams
• Contribute to delivery planning and backlog refinement
• Support implementation and delivery activities
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements
• Produce business analysis artefacts including requirements and process models
• Support continuous improvement and delivery of business outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in software delivery projects
• Experience performing Business Analyst functions within ICT delivery environments
• Experience working within agile delivery teams
• Collaboration with technical stakeholders including developers and architects
• Experience using Microsoft DevOps
• Ability to produce high-quality artefacts such as business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria
• Experience in data architecture, solutions, Software Development Life Cycle and related infrastructure
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in software delivery projects is required.
• The successful candidates will have demonstrated experience performing Business Analyst functions within ICT delivery environments, including requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation.
• Proven experience working within agile delivery teams and collaborating with technical stakeholders, including developers and architects using Microsoft DevOps.
• Experience producing high quality technical business artefacts such as business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria is required.
• Experience in data architecture, solutions, Software Development Life Cycle and related infrastructure.
• The candidate must also demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements, including excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• You have proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience contributing to solution design and delivery planning activities.
• You have the ability to work under pressure, deliver business outcomes and work effectively as part of a team with a focus on leading teams to provide quality services.
• You have experience working across complex ICT environments within the APS or similar large organisations.
• You can work closely as part of an agile delivery team, including the flexibility to work as a multi-disciplinary team member.
