Description
Our client is seeking four experienced Manager Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex and high-risk projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, providing strategic project leadership, and ensuring project outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, you will drive successful project delivery while maintaining strong governance, risk management and reporting practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects that are high risk or complex in nature.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Manage projects of strategic importance.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams with complex and varied interfaces.
- Provide strategic planning, mapping and modelling.
- Develop project documentation to a high standard in accordance with the client's methodology.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Manage project risks and issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Prepare project progress reports.
- Manage project and program resources.
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Mentor project staff.
- Facilitate and conduct requirements meetings, presentations and workshops.
- Transfer skills and knowledge to client staff.
- Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with recordkeeping policies.
- Produce Project Schedules.
- Produce Project Implementation Plans.
- Produce Project Management Plans.
- Produce Benefits Management Plans.
- Produce Stage Plans.
- Prepare Baseline Change Requests where required.
- Produce Statements of Requirements.
- Produce Transition Plans.
- Maintain logs of agreed business process changes.
- Prepare weekly status and progress reports.

- Demonstrated experience managing complex and high-risk projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project planning, scheduling and governance experience.
- Ability to manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Experience preparing high-quality project documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing project resources and budgets.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience mentoring project staff.
- Experience facilitating workshops and project meetings.

Essential Criteria
- At least three (3) years of work experience in project management.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality documentation in relation to the provision of reports, identification of risks, issues and project inter-dependences.
- Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of complex projects ensuring timely delivery.
- Demonstrated experience delivering in Scaled Agile methodology or alternative Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of price and financial considerations (including all relevant direct and indirect benefits and costs over the whole procurement cycle).
Desirable Criteria
- Proven project management experience working in large organisations similar to the client.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills both oral and written.
