Description:
Our client is seeking a Policy Business Analyst to bridge policy objectives with business processes, technology solutions and stakeholder needs. The successful candidate will analyse, develop and refine policies to ensure alignment with operational and regulatory requirements while working closely with stakeholders to translate policy requirements into practical business and technical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse existing policies, regulations and frameworks to assess their impact on business operations.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies and risks in current policy implementations.
- Develop and refine policy documents, business rules and compliance guidelines.
- Ensure policy recommendations align with legislative requirements and industry best practices.
- Document and analyse business processes to determine how policies are implemented in practice.
- Work with business units to identify areas for policy-driven process improvement.
- Develop process models and workflows to support policy changes.
- Translate policy objectives into functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Develop clear documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories and policy impact assessments.
- Support IT teams in interpreting policy requirements for system implementation.
