Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to work in partnership with business owners to implement new initiatives, manage the lifecycle of a platform and improve end-to-end product value streams. The successful candidate will act as the conduit between business and delivery teams, ensuring product outcomes align with user needs, business objectives and delivery constraints.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, experience leading product discovery and roadmap development, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product, its value stream, user needs and supporting technology.
• Support the implementation of new initiatives and capability improvements.
• Partner with business owners to identify and prioritise opportunities to improve business and technology capabilities.
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and strategic outcomes.
• Develop and communicate transparent product roadmaps.
• Lead product discovery activities and epic refinement to identify viable, feasible and desirable solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to improve shared capabilities and reduce duplication.
• Support and guide Product Owners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated strategic and outcome-focused product management experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
• Ability to make evidence-based decisions using data and analysis.
• Experience conducting user-centred discovery and product research.
• Strong product planning, roadmap development and backlog management skills.
• Technical and systems literacy with the ability to work effectively with technical delivery teams.
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
