Duration: Initial 12 months with 2 x 12-month extensions

Description:

Our client is seeking multiple Business Analysts with relevant industry certifications and experience in the analysis and design of successful business outcomes. The roles require strong stakeholder engagement and demonstrated experience producing a range of business analysis artefacts, including business, functional and non-functional requirements documents, user stories, business and systems rules analysis and mapping, BPMN models, and benefits articulation and measurement.

The successful candidates will help define and articulate business needs, processes and requirements, enabling effective engagement between business stakeholders and technology teams. They will support consistent business analysis practices, tools and methods while working across delivery approaches including waterfall, Scrum, Kanban and model-driven design.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity.
• Contribute to selecting the requirements approach.
• Facilitate input from stakeholders, provide constructive challenge and enable effective prioritisation of requirements.
• Establish requirements base-lines, obtain formal agreement to requirements, and ensure traceability to source.
• Apply standard data modelling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
• Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.

Requirements:

• Relevant industry certifications and experience in the field.
• Proven record of accomplishment in the analysis and design of successful business outcomes and strong client engagement.
• Demonstrable experience producing business and functional and non-functional requirements documents, user stories, business and systems rules analysis and mapping, BPMN models, and benefits articulation and measurement.
• Strong customer engagement and management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical staff including testers, developers and architects, and management stakeholders.
• Appropriate training in the field with requisite experience. Acceptable training includes BABOK v3.0 Core practitioner (with extension courses desirable); BA-Cube Pathway certifications; Business Analysis Foundations & Business Process Modelling (LinkedIn Learning); BPMN Fundamentals (with extension courses desirable); or equivalent.
